Replanting water garden plants
A Step by step planting oxygenators
1.Break off fresh growing tips or lengths between 4 and 8 inches long and collect them into bunches of 5 or 6.
2. Professional growers tie them together with strips of lead wire but you can just push them together into a basket of none limey gravel.
3. Fill the basket with as many bunches as it will hold. The advantage of having the oxygenating plants growing from a basket means that the there is a defined point to which you can cut back when they inevitably get out of hand.
4.Place them in the pond at 250 to 300mm (10ins to 1ft) of water until the cuttings seem to be growing and then lower them to the bottom.
